Only 8 days left until we set off on this big adventure I call a road-trip. I really can’t believe its finally here. Not sure if we’re ready or not. If not, I’m sure we’ll make the most of it. As you can see I’m done with my research and have our itinerary, directions, yes I’m old school and still prefer maps however we will have GPS assistance, our guide books and camera ready to go.
I just hope when I ask the wife “how many more miles do we have left” that I don’t get a Harry Dunne response:
“according to the map we’ve only got 4 inches”.

We converted our spare bedroom into the family staging area but by the looks of it we’re still not ready. Not captured in the photo is a 60 quart cooler and a large bin that will be caring all our hiking gear like our CamelBak’s, hiking boots, photo gear, and of course our rain gear. Plus a ton of snacks for the 30+ hour drive out to Yellowstone and on the trails.
I can’t believe it’s only 8 days away!!!
